Abstract

The spiritual reality is extremely complex and can be viewed from many perspectives, both theoretical and practical. One of the proposi-tions comes from the philosophical thought of Dietrich von Hildebrand. In one of his numerous works, he analyzes the identity of the spiritual connection that is created between people, also understood as spiritual beings. The phenomenological approach inspired both by Edmund Husserl himself and Max Scheler adds a significant trait to the analysis.

The subject of this article is the spiritual connection between people as understood by Dietrich von Hildebrand. The theoretical aim of the analyses will be to show the identity of this connection in its various as-pects, primarily concerning the diversified and multi-threaded identity of the very relationship between persons, understood precisely as the spiritual connection of persons. The practical goal is to apply the results of the ana lyses to the theory and practice of pedagogy. The primary research method used in the study is text analysis. In this case, the con-tent of selected works by Hildebrand.
