Effect of the green range to the quality of eggs
Abstract
The aim of the conducted research was to assess the impact of the maintenance system
(barn, free range and organic) on the mass of eggs and the intensity of yolk color. The
free range and organic system is conducive to obtaining eggs with a more intense color of yolk and a higher weight. The higher weight of eggs, the more intensive color of the yolk, testify to the beneficial effect of access to the green range on egg quality.
