About the Journal

The Journal of Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing (ISSN 2084-8021, eISSN 2299-0321) is a international quarterly published since 2012, which  publishes  peer-reviewed original articles (experimental and clinical research), and illustrative case studies in neurology and neurosurgery nursing. The journal is aimed at a wide range of specialists in the nursing environment and people associated with the health sciences. The quarterly is edited by prominent professionals in the field of neuro-nursing from home and abroad. The journal is published under the auspices of the Polish Association of Neurological Nurses.

The basic version of the journal is published on-line. Where possible, the magazine will also be issued on paper. Editors of the work accept article written in English.

The scope of the journal covers the following issues in nursing: neurology, neurosurgery, neuropediatry, neurogeriatry, neuropsychiatry, neurooncology, neuro intensive care, neurorehabilitation, neuropsychology, quality of life of patients with diseases of the nervous system, quality of care/care, satisfaction with care, organization and management.

According to the Announcement of the Minister of Education and Science of December 1, 2021, "The Journal of Neurological and Neurosurgical Nursing" is on the official list of journals with a score of 70 points. The journal is indexed in the international DOAJ database and has the Index Copernicus Value for 2023 ICV = 100 points.
