Studia Źródłoznawcze. Commentationes (Studies in Historical Sources) is a journal (yearbook) published by the Tadeusz Manteuffel Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IH PAS) in co-edition with the Institute of History PAS Foundation, focused on auxiliary sciences of history and studies of historical sources, i.e. classification of sources, research methods and criticism specific to particular types of sources, and the editing of historical sources from the Middle Ages to the nineteenth century. The Journal publishes studies and articles, critical editions of small historical sources, reviews and critical notes on recent publications relevant to the Journal’s field of study, and scientific chronicles.
