Around the Contemporary Halloween Discussion. Genesis, development and purpose

Abstract

Halloween is a feast that is becoming more and more important in modern times. It is based on the celebration of the most important Celtic holiday, Samhain, on November 1. Many quasi-religious practices are present in the celebration of this feast on October 31. This, it would seem, one of the many holidays celebrated today, however, hides the dark side, constituting a hidden, often dormant spiritual threat, because its impact can be postponed, and the negative effects of the celebration of this holiday are often not associated with himself. The article presents the genesis, development and purpose of this feast in the context of modern times.
