Sanctification of time in the major feasts of biblical Israel

Time in the perspective of the liturgical space of Israel is important and in a very concrete way comes out ahead of the order of space and external ritual. The purpose of this article is to present the main feasts of biblical Israel, such as the Passover, the Feast of the Weeks, and the Feast of the Tabernacles, in their relation to the Feast of the Sabbath. Each of these three festivals is an actualization of the nature and significance of the Shabbat itself. It is a multiplication in the space of time sanctified by YHWH in the work of creation. These direct connotations of the feasts discussed with the Sabbath point to their transcendent dimension. Such a feast is a state of mind, and not only a place or an act.
