Religiousness plays an important role in the process of becoming a person. In the humanistic sphere, various concepts of man have been established, which have recently been significantly enriched by the circular model of ways of believing as set out by Piotr Szydłowski and Jan Cieciuch – the Circumplex of Faith Modes (CFM). This model was developed from an emic perspective, describing various forms of Christian religiousness, understood as the relationship between man and God in the community of the Church. The way of believing takes place in two domains: the relationship with God (Transcendence) and on the psychosocial level (the role of the Church, the community). Since the model allows us to perceive a human being as an entity integrating material, psychological and spiritual layers, it is worth asking as to what extent it can become a key element in the area of religious education at every stage of life? The positioning of a person in the context of his/her individual development potential as set forth in the article makes it possible to move between individual levels of religious attitudes. This can only be achieved with prior affirmation of the person and his/her teleological perspective (happiness, fulfilment and self-realization). It is worth making faith and hope the foundation of this process, and the optimal realization of a human being in the perspective of eternity (maieutics, love) a kind of port of destination.
