Zioła i suplementy diety post-COVID, czyli możliwości wspierania chorych i ozdrowieńców

Pandemia COVID-19 zdominowała sposób funkcjonowania społeczeństw. Zachwiała poczuciem bezpieczeństwa ludzi. Obecnie, pomimo pojawiających się już, leków, wciąż – ze względu na ich niską dostępność – wiele osób szuka wsparcia w procesie leczenia w ziołach i suplementach diety. Istnieje szereg ziół i suplementów, które wspierać mogą zarówno proces leczenia chorych na COVID-19, jak i proces rekonwalescencji po przebytej chorobie. Niniejsza praca pełni funkcję komparatystyczną i ma na celu zaprezentowanie przeglądu dostępnej literatury krajowej i zagranicznej, poświęconej problematyce wsparcia leczenia COVID-19 i rekonwalescencji po tej chorobie. W artykule charakterystyce poddano szeroki wachlarz ziół i suplementów, których działanie zostało potwierdzone badaniami naukowymi i jest ściśle połączone z objawami choroby COVID-19 oraz dysfunkcjami, które pojawiają się w organizmie po przebyciu zakażenia Sars-CoV-2.
