Abstract

These/Ziel: Das Ziel des Beitrags ist die Analyse einiger Fragen aus der Methodologie der Buchwissenschaft und Informatologie, d.i. der Meinungsumfrage und der individuellen und Gruppeninterviews. Im Beitrag besprach man die einzelnen Werkzeuge, analysierte ihre Anwendung in der Disziplin in quantitativer Hinsicht und wies auf ihre Bedeutung für das wissenschaftliche und qualitative Schrifttum hin. Forschungsmethode: Die Erwägungen stützen sich auf die Literaturübersicht sowie die eigenen bibliometrischen Untersuchungen, darunter anhand der zwei führenden polnischen wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften („Zagadnienia Informacji Naukowej“ und „Przegląd Biblioteczny“) aus den Jahren 2010–2015. Ergebnisse/Schlussfolgerungen: Anhand der durchgeführten Analysen wurde nachgewiesen, dass die genannten Werkzeuge in der polnischen Forschung im Bereich der Informatologie eigentlich keine Anwendung fanden, auch wenn man sich der Meinungsumfragen häufiger als der Interviews bediente.

Dr. Justyna Jasiewicz, wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Fakultät für Journalismus, Information und Buchwissenschaft der Universität Warschau. Sie beschäftigt sich mit den Fragen der Informations- und Digitalkompetenzen. Seit 2016 leitet sie ein Projekt, in dessen Rahmen sie sich mit der Anwendung von Forschungsmethoden der Sozialwissenschaften in der Buchwissenschaft und Informatologie auseinandersetzt. Sie ist Mitglied des Forschungsteams im Zentrum der Medienanalysen der Universität Warschau, wo sie die Untersuchungen über die Digitalkompetenzen der jungen Leute mithilfe von biometrischen Messungen beaufsichtigt. Publikationen: Kompetencje informacyjne młodzieży [Informationskompetenzen der Jugendlichen] (Warszawa 2012) sowie zahlreiche (populär)wissenschaftliche Artikel in den Sammelbänden: „Przegląd Biblioteczny“, „Information – Wissenschaft und Praxis“, „Gazeta Wyborcza“; Informacja zdrowotna. Oczekiwania i kompetencje polskich użytkowników [Die Gesundheitsinformation. Erwartungen und Kompetenzen polnischer Benutzer] (Warszawa 2013). Sie ist auch Mitglied zahlreicher Forschungsteams, Expertin verschiedener Nichtregierungsorganisationen, darunter der Stiftung Orange und Stiftung Nowoczesna Polska. In den Jahren 2014–2016 war sie head of research im Digitalzentrum – Projekt: Polen.
