Kwestia śmierci królów Jorama i Ochozjasza opisana została odmiennie w Biblii hebrajskiej i Steli z Tel-Dan, co jest obecnie zarzewiem sporu wśród historyków-biblistów. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie i wyjaśnienie przyczyn rzeczonego sporu, a także dokonanie reinterpretacji tytułowych tekstów źródłowych na bazie własnych spostrzeżeń.
