Formuła wajehî ʾîš [ʾeḥād] narracyjną osnową deuteronomistycznej relacji o schyłku epoki przedmonarchicznej w Izraelu (Sdz 13,2–1 Sm 10,16)

Jednym z najbardziej przełomowych momentów w deuteronomistycznej historiografii Izraela (Joz–2Krl) była społeczno-religijna transformacja, jaka nastąpiła u schyłku epoki sędziów, która doprowadziła do przejścia od rządów lokalnych wodzów pokoleniowych i nieuporządkowanej posługi kapłanów-lewitów do modelu trwałych i uznawanych powszechnie instytucji: proroka i króla. Temu ważnemu procesowi przemian deuteronomiści poświęcają specjalnie wydzieloną i opracowaną przez nich kolekcję tradycji obejmujących kilka większych cykli przekazów, które obecnie figurują na końcu Księgi Sędziów (13–16; 17–18; 19–21) i początku 1 Samuela (1–3; 9,1–10,16). O strukturalnej i narracyjnej spójności tego bloku tekstów przesądza pięciokrotnie użyta formuła wajehî ʼîš [ʼeḥād], a jej genezę, rozmieszczenie, charakterystykę literacką i funkcje pełnione w kompleksie Sdz 13,2–1 Sm 10,16 przedstawia niniejsza publikacja.
