Constantly present problems, as well as marginalised and learned (forgotten) ones at a specific place and time. Awareness of a process of forgetting and restoring problems and knowledge is particularly important in conditions of radical cultural change. Cultural change caused by system transformation which established the topic of the 1st Pedagogy Conference, namely the issue of evolution of pedagogy identity. From the perspective of 20 years from the event I struggle to elicit the two following question from abeyance:
1) the question on continuity interruption (maintenance of continuity) of Polish pedagogy;
2) the question on the use of opportunities of Polish pedagogy as a participant of changes in social educational practices being one of the major domains of culture.
The 20th anniversary serves as justification for recalling these questions. Such activity corresponds with the notion of culture as praxis, argued by Zygmunt Bauman.
