The Metaphysical Concept of Relational Transcendentals as a Tool for the Philosophical Knowledge of the Truth about a Personal God

The vast majority of textbooks on the concept of theodicy focus on the rational argumentation for the existence of the Absolute Being. The remaining publications, devoted to the question of the philosophical knowledge of the nature of God, concentrate mostly on discussing and analyzing some of the divine attributes enumerated by St. Thomas Aquinas in his Summa Theologiae, disregarding a more precise indication of purely rational reasons justifying the very fact that they are ascribed to God. This applies, in particular, to such attributes as divine knowledge and will, which make it possible, in the natural order, to infer directly that the Absolute is a personal being. It seems that in this context, it would be appropriate to refer more clearly to the concept of the so-called relational transcendentals of truth, goodness and beauty, which constitutes a proper tool for gaining the philosophical knowledge of the truth about a personal God.
