The theological foundations of this profession are discussed, along with practical theological aspects related to coping with trauma and stress and to community building. The article also addresses contemporary challenges, such as ethical dilemmas and the role of chaplains. The conclusions emphasize the need for further reflection and research on the theological challenges involved in the work of firefighters to better support them in this responsible mission.
