A Theologian Interested in Knowledge from Natural Science: In Search of Reasons
This paper is an attempt to indicate the reasons why a theologian should be interested in other sciences. The openness of the Church towards science is a relevant issue for the Christian faith. Its justification today takes place in a climate of scientific thinking in which scientific tools for understanding the world and the scientific picture of the world itself play an important role. This article will demonstrate the following: 1) the anthropological reason; (2) the ecological reason; and (3) the kerygmatic reason.
