The article examines the problem of the theological distinction between human intellectual and spiritual activity. The proposed distinction is based, on the one hand, on an analysis of the idea of "ministry of thought" developed by John Paul II and the idea of "religious thinking" proposed by Józef Tischner, and, on the other, on an analysis of theological concepts concerning the relationship between corporeality, intellect, emotionality, and human spirituality, as well as observations that can be made regarding the reality of the clash between the human intellect and the phenomenon of artificial intelligence.
