Pierwszy numer kwartalnika „Teologia i Człowiek” w roku 2024 otwiera tekst autorstwa ks. Krzysztofa Góździa, w którym została podjęta – tak bardzo aktualna – problematyka teologii wolności w ujęciu Benedykta XVI. Powracamy na łamach naszego czasopisma do głębi myśli teologicznej zmarłego papieża, który proponował rozumienie wolności człowieka jako uznanie własnej stworzoności, a więc daru pochodzącego od Boga. Ojciec Święty Benedykt postulował „uwolnienie” takiej wolności, która w swej zależności od Stwórcy przybiera formę miłości, a wyraża się w „tryptyku”: wolności samego Boga, wolności synostwa i wolności człowieka.
Z kolei ks. Manlio Sodi w interesującej refleksji z pogranicza teologii liturgii i homiletyki ukazuje szczególne bogactwo tematyczne Ewangelii według św. Jana proklamowane podczas liturgii. Pomocą w jego dostrzeżeniu jest układ lekcjonarza mszalnego. Autor zwraca uwagę, że rozumienie zawartego w księdze liturgicznej i głoszonego podczas liturgii tekstu winno być również zgłębiane w lectio divina, która stanowi duchowy pokarm mający swoje apogeum w liturgii sakramentalnej.
