Résumé

Dans la métaphysique de Suárez, il y a une équivalence concernant l’ens ab alio entre la durée et la persévérance dans l’être. L’interrogation sur la relation entre l’existence et la temporalité permet de révéler que la théorie politique contribue à la compréhension du devenir de la métaphysique; et cette dernière requiert la considération de son rôle dans la constitution du sens et de l’objectif de la communauté humaine.
