The role and the place of the rule of Precedence in contemporary international relations

In the issued article I have attempted to describe the role of precedence in contemporary international relations. I have created a definition of this issue, describing its development from the medieval times to the contemporary era. I also tried to show the important role of precedence in the diplomatic protocol. In the last part I prepared a collation of the rules of precedence from other countries and also proposed some improvements concerning this issue in the legal system of Poland.
