Violation of the principle of legal certainty on the example of Art. 13 sec. 1a of the law on court fees

This publication, as an example of the amendment of the law of 28 July 2005 on court costs in civil cases, shows the role of the principle of legal certainty in the lawmaking process. The article presents the reasons for introducing art. 13 sec. 1a to the law on court fees and the legal consequences of the application of this regulation. The aim of the article is to draw attention to the need for law-making bodies to apply the principle of legal certainty.
