Russia, power, superpowerAbstract
Russia, with its primary sources of power in decline, is exerting a critically increased influence on the international landscape. Moscow did not prove to be a “colossus with feet of clay”, but a dangerous rival that is able to adapt to changing conditions, which was demonstrated throughout history. This article outlines several factors that allowed Russia to adapt to new conditions and gave the power its specific character.
