The book constitutes a collection of memoirs referring to the University Library and its employees in the years 1971–1977. The author of the memoirs, the historian of books and libraries worked in the University Library for six years. The book is also a story about the daily life of library workers, their habits and passions, events and parties organized by them. The publication is divided into two parts, in which the life in two buildings of the university library was described. In the first old building situated in Bydgoskie Przedmieście , the library operated in the years 1947–1973. Since May 1973 the library has been located in the modern building in Bielany. The publication includes numerous photographs from the collections of the library and the archives of its workers.Downloads
