Uwarunkowania kulturowe powodują, że potrzeba odwagi, aby dyskutować o społecznych perspektywach postrzegania ciał nietypowych pod względem płci. Podejście do różnic pochodzi z subiektywnych przestrzeni, które często upraszczają i bagatelizują rzeczywistość, a na które najbardziej narażone są osoby niepotrafiące selekcjonować wiadomości. Istotne są ramy etyczne otaczające różnorodne przekazy, kwestie dobra publicznego oraz znaczenie prawdy i obiektywizmu. Dlatego należy eliminować błędne, szkodzące wychowaniu młodych ludzi ideologie dotyczące płci i tożsamości płciowej. Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie kluczowych aspektów tych zagadnień.
