Od dyscyplinarności do transdyscyplinarności – wybrane implikacje wytwarzania wiedzy o starości i starzeniu się

Celem artykułu jest przyjrzenie się, w wybranym zakresie, odmiennoś- ciom wytwarzania wiedzy naukowej o starości i starzeniu się w czterech odsłonach – dyscyplinarnym, multidyscyplinarnym, interdyscyplinarnym i transdyscyplinarnym, oraz zwrócenie uwagi na szanse i bariery, jakie niesie każda z tych perspektyw, bez opowiadania się po którejś ze stron. W efekcie powstaje namysł nad samowiedzą badacza w odniesieniu do praktyki jego naukowych zmagań, gdzie może on spojrzeć na gerontologię społeczną bardziej refleksyjnie. Wyniki tych analiz w wielu przypad- kach dają się odnieść do innych obszarów nauk społecznych.
