¿Es bíblica la noción de presciencia?

¿Conoce Dios los futuros contingentes? Recientemente ha aparecido una nueva explicación teológica que quiere responder a este problema negado su raíz: Dios no conoce el futuro porque este está abierto en sentido fuerte. Santo Tomás, por su parte, se enfrentó también a este problema y respondió a él recurriendo al presente de la eternidad divina que, existiendo toda simultáneamente, abarca todos los tiempos. Ahora bien, ¿cuáles son las motivaciones teológicas que subyacen en cada postura? Nos ocuparemos del problema de la presciencia divina en este trabajo para ejemplificar el método teológico de santo Tomás.
