This paper presents the fundamental issues of Jean-Paul Sartre’s philosophy of freedom – the concept of freedom, responsibility, and bad faith. This paper shows the Other as a main ontological and ethical border of human being’s freedom and is also an attempt to combine an existentialist thought of Sartre with Charles Taylor’s communitarian concept of agency.
