Abstract

One of the most important philosophical debates now tearing our nation apart is the one concerning abortion. In this matter, there can be little controversy. The present paper is an attempt to patch up this matter by offering a compromise solution, that gives each side, pro-choice and pro-life, half a loaf. Moreover, it is a principled compromise, not merely adding up the two sides and dividing them equally. No cutting babies in half, here.
