A Critical Approach to Heidegger’s "Being and Time" by Panagiotis Kondylis. A Translators’ Commentary

The object of this article is to discuss Panagiotis Kondylis' critical attitude towards Martin Heidegger's concepts and its historical context. The authors refer to both Kondylis' review of Heidegger's book Being and Time on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of its first edition and other excerpts from Kondylis' books in which he refers to the German philosopher's legacy. The authors point out that the polemic with Heidegger serves Kondylis to signal his own distinct conception that is in complete opposition to Heidegger's work.
