Integration disorders between children with pervasive development disorders

Abstract

In late 2020 and early 2021 I diagnosed and treated pupils from a therapeutic centre. The diagnosis was carried out on children who are at the stage of early childhood education. Requiring special education due to holistic developmental disorders. The first of the described cases concerns . I evaluated the therapy in three consecutive stages after 6, 12 and 18 months from the beginning of therapy. During the therapy I used suspended equipment such as swings, platforms, hammocks as well as ground-based equipment such as a balance beam, sensory tracks, shapes, pool with balls, balls, massagers, rollers, mangle, topek, barrel, tunnel, trampoline etc. For tactile stimuli I used all kinds of fabrics, sponges, brushes, pulses, sensory balls, sensory masses etc. In order to make the therapy enjoyable for the child, I called each activity a game. Depending on the nature of the challenge, the boys became: jumping frogs, crawling soldiers, flying paratroopers, explorers, sculptors, etc. I drew inspiration for games fulfilling a therapeutic function from the items: " Everyday games and plays" for children with sensory processing disorders" by Barbara Sher, "Disorderly child in the world of games and plays" by C. Kranowitz "Train the brain through movement" by Z. Przyrowski Children through exercises not only improved the integration of sensory information or the brain's ability to modulate received stimuli but also improved their physicality, muscle strength but also improved their cognitive skills, graphomotor skills, concentration and memory.
