The Impact of the Controversies around the Iranian Nuclear Program on Regional Security and the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Relations with the World

Abstract

Almost all of Iran‘s political and economic crises in the 21st century are related to the international dispute over the nature of Iran‘s Nuclear Program. Controversies in this area remain a pretext for imposing political and economic sanctions on Iran and are also the basis for the escalation of tensions with the United States and Israel. The article attempts to describe the most important events related to the Iranian Nuclear Program and the international controversies it has created. The main aim is to answer the question: how do the aforementioned controversies affect the position of Iran in the International Affairs?
