Service dogs of the National Tax Administration - selected issues

The aim of the article is to indicate the reasons determining the suitability of dogs for work in the National Tax Administration and to analyze the regulations (few, this issue is not broadly regulated) regarding the conditions for the use of dogs by the National Tax Administration, together with the presentation of de lege ferenda conclusions. It should be stated that dogs undoubtedly have natural predispositions that make them irreplaceable assistants in the performance of tasks by NTA officers. These predispositions are used during specialized training to prepare them for work. The research was carried out using the formal-dogmatic method - basic for legal research, which was used for the exegesis and interpretation of legal acts. Taking up the issue of the use of dogs in NTA seems to be justified, considering the fact that this issue is only sparsely discussed in the literature.
