Participation of local governments units in providing assistance Ukrainian citizens - financial analysis on the example of local government units in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship

This article presents the results of the conducted research on the normative status related to the implementation of tasks by local government units as part of the assistance to Ukrainian citizens in connection with the armed conflict on the territory of that country. At the same time, using statistical methods, an analysis was conducted of the level of expenditures of local government units of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship incurred in 2023 for the implementation of the above tasks. The conducted research indicates an uneven level of expenditures incurred by local government units. This results from the different number of Ukrainian citizens on their territory, which indicates the lack of legal solutions relating to the relocation of Ukrainian citizens on the territory of Poland.
