Streszczenie

Mucocele jest najczęstszą chorobą małych gruczołów ślinowych. Jej leczenie jest chirurgiczne i może być wykonane metodą tradycyjną z użyciem skalpela, nożem elektrycznym lub laserem. W pracy przedstawiono przypadek 30. letniej pacjentki, u której usunięto torbiel zastoinową nożem elektrycznym. Uzyskano dobry efekt terapeutyczny i kosmetyczny.

Summary

            Mucocele is the most common disease of the small salivary glands. The treatment of such lesion is always surgical and can be either traditional – with the use of a scalpel or modern, using the electric knife or laser. The article presents a case of 30 y. o. patient, who underwent surgical removal of the mucocele with the use of an electric knife. Positive therapeutic and cosmetics effect was obtained.
