About the Journal
Aims and scope
Études et Travaux is a peer-reviewed (double-blind) journal published annually by the Institute of Mediterranean and Oriental Cultures of the Polish Academy of Sciences. It deals with the archaeology of ancient and early medieval/Islamic cultures of the Mediterranean Basin, the Near East, Arabian Peninsula and North Africa. Études et Travaux publishes original research papers as well as synthetic and theoretic articles and high-quality, in-depth field or laboratory reports.
Études et Travaux publishes both regular articles and special sections, which consist of a set of articles on a specific theme, either related to a common research problem or of limited chronological and/or geographical scope.
The Editorial board of the journal offers a high-quality evaluation process of the paper proposals, guaranteed by the selection of the external reviewers, the best international specialists in the field represented by particular papers.
