The text is the source edition of the report prepared in the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1997. Although the document was created in view of the upcoming international conference on the gold looted during the Second World War, it deals primarily with broad property issues relating to the reprivatisation of Jewish property and assistance to Holocaust victims. The report discusses the consequences of the position taken by the Polish government towards claims of Jewish communities in the context of Poland’s integration into NATO and the EU.
