The article is a brief examination of the most important ancient commentary on the Book of Revelation produced by the Greek East was composed by Andrew, Archbishop of Caesarea, Cappadocia. It not only became the standard patristic commentary in the Eastern Christian tradition and significantly influenced all subsequent Eastern commentaries, but decisively influenced the reception of the Book of Revelation into the canon of the Orthodox Church.References
