"Paulus Servus Iesu Christi". Rm 1:1 in the Exegesis of Ambrosiaster

The author shows some principles of the exegesis typical of Ambrosiaster. The exegesis of the first phrase of the Letter to the Romans serves to Ambrosiaster as an excuse to present his thesis that Paul uses a personal story about his liberation from the Law and about his clinging to the Gospel to present himself as an example to be imitated by the Romans.References
