Historia Izraela w perspektywie tekstów wspólnoty z Qumran
Artykuł zawiera przegląd elementów historiograficznych w manuskryptach wspólnoty z Qumran w celu uchwycenia perspektywy wspólnoty na historię Izraela. Ponieważ w tekstach wspólnoty historia jest podporządkowana parenezie, w artykule przyjęto klucz chronologiczny, omawiając historię Izraela od stworzenia świata do czasu powstania wspólnoty. Z zachowanych tekstów wspólnoty historia Izraela jawi się jako historia nieustannej kompromitacji, zarówno w okresie przedwygnaniowym, jak i powygnaniowym. Zarysowanie historii Izraela w ciemnych barwach miało na celu uzasadnić konieczność powołania wspólnoty nowego Izraela opartego na nowym objawieniu i nowym przymierzu. Bóg powołał wspólnotę przez wzgląd na wierność obietnicy danej przodkom i w przekonaniu wspólnoty przyszłość należy już tylko do nowego Izraela. Tak więc refleksja nad przeszłością jest o tyle ważna, o ile służy zrozumieniu historii wspólnoty i pogłębieniu jej własnej tożsamości.
