Komentarz Tomasza z Akwinu do Ef 6,10–17 i komentarze epoki patrystycznej
W komentarzach św. Tomasza z Akwinu do listów św. Pawła można znaleźć przykłady egzegezy, zwane dzisiaj egzegezą teologiczną. W komentarzu do Ef 6,10–17, Akwinata przekonany o jedności Pisma Świętego, odkrywa biblijne paralele, które pomagają w lepszym zrozumieniu tekstu. Pokazuje się także jako znawca egzegezy patrystycznej i jednocześnie wyjaśnia wszystko w oryginalny i pedagogiczny sposób.
