Sacral Topography of a Town in the 19th Century: Katowice in Upper Silesia and the first Churches in this City
The main thesis of this article refers to the concept of Max Weber concerning the processes of socialization. The author of the article analyzed the urban planning of the city in the first stage of its development. It turns out that the creation of the city was directly connected with the activity of the Masonic lodge, which is still visible nowadays in the layout of the sacral buildings in the city centreReferences
