Abstract

This article analyzes the image of Turkish immigrants in the Polish emmigration magazines Pogląd and Archipelag. The text refers to the period from the creation of both magazines shortly after the declaration of martial law in Poland to the fall of communism in 1989. Reading of Pogląd and Archipelag, one may conclude that the experience of living abroad and the consciousness of the current situation in Poland and abroad did not overshadow the multicultural image of Berlin among Polish authors.
