Analysis of Mariola Chomczyńska-Rubacha’s Work in the Light of the Possibilities of Generative Artificial Intelligence

Abstract

The aim of this article is to frame Mariola Chomczyńska-Rubacha’s scholarly output from the perspective of the contemporary possibilities of generative artificial intelligence, with particular reference to the ChatGPT tool. The analysis focuses on the author’s three monographs on cultural gender, sex education, genre pedagogy and teacher functioning in the context of gender role development. The article shows how AI can support the different stages of research work – from theory selection to the construction of research tools to data interpretation. At the same time, it draws attention to the limitations and risks of using generative technology in the social sciences, such as analytical simplifications or the risk of falsifying information.
