Values are related to human existence and they belong to the real world of
human participation. A man, referring to the values existing beyond him, bu-
ilds himself as a value. Values assign meaning to existence and in this way,
they become the raison d’etre. Experiencing our own value is also a part of
the world of hope. An axiological dimension of human existence is revealed
in hope and through hope. The things which are most personal in a person
are expressed through hope. A man who is able to meet another person on the
ground of their hope experiences something which is individual and absolute
at the same time – the value that becomes a person. Dynamism of human exi-
stence in the perspective of hope is realised in “now”, but it should be empha-
sised that it is in close relation with “before” and “later”. Hope is also an im-
pulse to transcendence.
