The decision of Czesław Miłosz about staying in exile in 1951 was kindly accepted by the environment of young writers and Polish publicists in Great Britain. The writers gathered around the “Continents” journal established cooperation with the poet and were inviting him to England. The article is a memory from the meetings of at that time one of young writers: in London and in Canada.
