An attempt to discuss a relation Miłosz–Chmielowiec, connected with editing of correspondence sources. Miłosz wrote to Chmielowiec having read his article in the London’s Life. The Author attempts to inquire whether that letter awaited a reply and whether it initiated a closer contact between the writers. It is also an effort to extend one’s knowledge about a conflict between Miłosz and Wiadomości [The News].
