Removal and trafficking of human organs – analysis from a criminological and human rights perspective

The removal and trafficking of human organs, as a form of human trafficking, constitutes one of the most serious threats in the modern world. This article aims to comprehensively present this practice as a phenomenon related to human trafficking. The dichotomous analysis included in the article— regarding both the criminological perspective and human rights perspective—proves the validity of the statement that the removal and trafficking of human organs is a global threat that violates human rights and fundamental freedoms.
