The volume is a collection of texts presenting specific, implemented activities, which can serve as a source of inspiration for practitioners and library managers whose goal is to improve the quality of services and effectiveness of the library. The most important resources of non-material libraries include: human capital and knowledge management skills, the ability to build strategies that enable them to develop and strengthen their position in the social environment. The book presents numerous examples of measurements, assessment of intangible assets and their impact on the efficiency of library activities.
