Abstract

Between 24–26th January 2018, the XXVI international BOBCATSSS symposium took place with the motto: “The Power of Reading”. This year’s edition took place at the University of Latvia in Riga. The organizers of the conference were The University of Latvia and the University of Eötvös Loránd in Budapest. The main idea of the symposium was to significant role of students of library and information science in contemporary world. The article summarizes the symposium and shows basic information presented in delivered reports and conducted scientific workshops.
