Also authors of the monograph (No)present science. Promotional strategies of Polish scientific journals in the humanities and social sciences have joined this discussion. Assuming that periodicals are a principal means of scientific communication, they analyzed promotional activities undertaken by editors of Polish scientific journals in the field of these sciences, including their online presence (websites, social media profiles). The article provides an overview of the monograph and main conclusions presented on its pages.
