The program of the implementation information literacy trainings in an academic library on the University Library of Lodz example: discussion under the survey pilot study

The introduction to the article presents basic theoretical issues on implementation of information literacy courses in academic libraries and foreign experiences in this matter. The further part deals with the survey in which the University of Lodz students took part. The surveys looks into their knowledge of information literacy and their willingness to participate in an information literacy training. The last part includes the author’s conclusions that establish the preliminary directives for the plan of information literacy courses.References
